Kerinci district as a tourist destination in Jambi province sponsored
various extraordinary entertainment events like a race in a rice field
during the just-concluded Lake Kerinci Festival.
In the annual festival, the organizing committee also held other unique and distinctive competitions such as an "Usoh carnival", wagons without wheels drawn by buffaloes as well as a dog race which were participated in by members of the local community.
The traditional race in a rice field was done by 30 local residents and took place in Keluru village, Keliling Danau sub-district, Kerinci district.

Kaco lake (glass) Kerinci, the westernmost district in Jambi Province is endowed with natural beauty like no other. No one if given the title of Earth’s Kerinci Segepal Land lying Heaven to Earth.
One of the natural beauty that is Lake Kerinci Regency owned Kaco, located in Kerinci Seblat National Park (TNKS). The lake, which has an area of ??approximately 30 x 30 meters has a depth that is still a mystery.
